Hi. I’m Andrew, Founder Of Best Drafts.

I wasn’t always a writer. I began my career in the trades, running a fine furniture and woodworking business in the quiet countryside of Chester County, PA. Years later, in my thirties, I worked as a home renovation contractor 9,000 feet up in the mountains of Colorado. Working with my homeowner clients was a pleasure, and living in Colorado also fulfilled a lifelong love for the majestic beauty of the outdoors.

But times change, and now, instead of swinging hammers, I’m tapping away at computer keys. Writing has always been a passion and led me to study English Lit. at Penn State. Now, as a freelance writer, I get to put my hands-on experience to work, sharing what I’ve learned to inform, inspire, and occasionally entertain. While I often draw on my background in the trades, my writing is also shaped by my love of the outdoors, art, reading, and other interests.
